Although the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 cycle is coming to a close, Sledgehammer Games continues to add fresh content into multiplayer along with integrating it into Call of Duty: Warzone. Aftermarket Parts keep on appearing, much to the delight of players looking for alternatives to the best weapons to use.
The Season 6 update saw the return of Michael Myers as part of The Haunting event and one of the last Aftermarket Parts to arrive is the JAK Lance which transforms the characteristics of the MX Guardian shotgun which first appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Here, find out how to unlock the JAK Lance in both multiplayer and battle royale.

Which Call of Duty Game Has The Best Maps?
The original Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer maps were so good that it spawned Modern Warfare 3 (2023). Terminal is still my favorite map in the series, with Shoot House from MW19 coming in second place. If we're talking Zombies, then I'm putting my vote on Black Ops 3, simply because of Der Eisendrache.
How To Unlock JAK Lance
The process of unlocking the JAK Lance in Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone follows the same formula as other Aftermarket Parts that have released throughout the cycle. All players need to do is complete any five of the Season 6 Week 2 challenges across multiplayer, zombies, and battle royale.
Described as a 'pressurized magazine that fires three ballistic rivets' once during each rotation of the magazine, the JAK Lance provides significant boosts in hipfire accuracy and walking speed while aiming down sights.
Season 6 Week 2 Challenges
In total, there are 21 challenges available in week two of Season 6 giving players plenty of choice no matter what game mode they decide to play. Below is a full list of the challenges for multiplayer, zombies, and battle royale:
Modern Warfare 3
- Score 35 Akimbo kills
- Score 20 kills with a weapon set to burst-fire
- Score 10 Point Blank or melee kills
- Score two kills with one magazine three times
- Score 25 kills shortly after sprinting
- Score 20 kills from behind
- Score 10 Close Calls or kills after death
Zombies
- Score 150 kills with Akimbo weapons
- Score 150 kills with a weapon set to burst-fire
- Score 50 melee Mercenary kills
- Score 10 kills without being hit 20 times
- Score 25 Hellhound kills
- Score 100 Critical kills with an assault rifle
- Score 125 kills with a battle rifle while having at least four Perks active
Warzone
- In Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the north-west of the map
- In Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the south of the map
- Place in the top 10 seven times
- Score seven kills or assists
- In Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the east of the map
- In Urzikstan, open 30 loot caches in the central region of the map
- Complete 20 contracts
Aside from weapon optics, Aftermarket Parts have rarely influenced the Call of Duty meta during the Modern Warfare 3 cycle. In the case of the JAK Lance, it's a lot of fun to use but far from the best weapon in the arsenal. For those wanting something a little different on the virtual battlefield, it excels in close-quarters combat.
Players can complete any five of the challenges listed above which comes in handy when selecting the easiest ones to complete as fast as possible. Whether it's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 or Call of Duty: Warzone, players have plenty of choice when unlocking the JAK Lance.
